Math or Dare – a fun game full of time tables facts

math or dare coverDo your students struggle to master random recall of those “tricky” times tables?

Should they be able to tell you what 9 x 12 is without working it out?

Are you a cool teacher who doesn’t mind a little noisy game time every now and again?

Well then this game is for you! You get 80 cards in 2 decks – a Math deck and a Dare Deck (simply print the pages back to back then laminate and cut out).

Students take turns to answer a mixed times table question of a card and if they get it right, they get a point. If they don’t, however, they have to choose a Dare card and do what ever it says!

The dares include “Act like a chicken”, “Sing I’m a little teapot with the actions” and “Perform a 30 second ballet” so they are fun and child appropriate but can be a little noisy. The kids will love it though and will quickly master the times tables!
